Italian aerospace and defense giant Finmeccanica trial of the former head of the case to win a ? 560 million, ($ 670 million) helicopter contract in India bribery.
Giuseppe Orsi, February resign and face corruption charges in the case, has tarnished the state holding company.
Trial was Agusta - Westland's CEO, Bruno Spagnolini defense contractor helicopter business.
Accelerated trial Wednesday in Busto - Arsizio north of Milan judges decision, there is not enough evidence to conduct a preliminary hearing.
Orsi has denied any wrongdoing, but Spagnolini no comment. Finmeccanica and Agusta - Westland have denied wrongdoing.
India, which is investigating allegations of corruption, has stopped the remaining nine AW1010 helicopters delivered.
