France has revised its deficit at the levels of the past two years, citing a deteriorating economic and bank bail-outs.
National statistics agency, said France's 2011 deficit of 5.3% of gross domestic product (GDP), 0.1% higher than imagined. Last year's deficit of 4.8%.
The government has been trying to reduce the deficit to 4.5% in 2012. Treasury secretary Pierre Mr Moscovici said on Friday, the French missed its target, because it gives struggling Banks Dexia more money growth worse than expected at the end of the year.
France has said that its 2013 deficit of 3.7% - lack of meet the eu limit of 3% target is possible.
