Rome (AP) - Italy easily sold ?45.4 billion dollar 24 months bond auction, see the country's lending interest rates fall, in another sign, investors shrug off uncertainty early elections next month and Italy's latest financial scandal.
The Italian ministry of finance said Monday's bond interest rate for 1.434% to 1.884% in December, the auction. Demand is healthy, and sale of 1.45 times oversubscribed.
