Isuzu corporation and its shareholders before general motors say they plan to develop new pickup models, restore cooperation, focus on fast-growing emerging markets.
Isuzu and GM, issued a statement Thursday saying that they have agreed to take joint development of the pickup truck. The nature of their cooperation did not give details.
A medium-sized car manufacturer, specializing in small trucks, commercial vehicle and diesel engine, isuzu, production pickup in Thailand, in southeast Asia is stronger.
General motors and isuzu formed a union, in 1971. General motors in 1999 the company received 49% of the share, isuzu, but the rate dropped to 12% in 2003. In 2006, general motors company sell the remaining 7.9% of the market, Japan two trading company, $300 million.
